Logitech MX 1100 Review

The first thing that you’ll noticed about this mouse is how big and bold it is. Even though its much bigger and then Apple’s own magic mouse it still feels very comfortable when in the palm of your hand. There are a total of 8 buttons on this mouse with and addition to one hidden button right by your thumb that you can press and program as well giving you 9 programable buttons that you can program through the logitech control panel. While the MX Revolution was the first mouse ever to offer a new innovative scroll wheel by allowing you to go into a free spin mode which would allow you to scroll through long documents or go back to the top of a long document all with a flick of your finger. While this was nice on the MX Revolution it was the way in which you activated the free spin that became annoying. In order to enable that feature you had to click the scroll wheel which got read of the third click. So for all you AutoCAD fans and Photoshop fans this was a problem not being able to pan easy. Now with the new MX 1100 they have moved that button to the top of the shell right behind the scroll wheel which allows you to switch between the two modes.

As far as this mouse goes it still uses those big dongles and not the nano receivers. Which actually if you think about it this mouse was really designed for desktops in mind. But I can promise you that you’ll always want to use it instead of that beautiful multi touch glass trackpad on your MacBook Pro.

Another nice feature that this mouse has is the ability to change the Dpi in which it tracks on surfaces. You are going to have two buttons on the top that by default changes the Dpi level.

Overall this is a fantastic mouse !

How do you have your Spaces setup

So I just wanted to do a quick post and show you how I’ve changed my setup here on my computer. Right now Im running 6 spaces total instead of 9 like before. So how many spaces do you run?

Adoption Search Update

So last Wednesday I was finally able to get a hold of Holt International about finding my biological birthparents. They mentioned that since Im now over the age of 18 I can legally began to search for my birthparents if I choose to, and same goes for my birthparents now that Im 18 they can search for me if they choose to. They said the fist thing that I would need to do is gather all my adoption papers and see what adoption records I already have here at home. They said that my parents should’ve been given all the records regarding my adoption and there shouldn’t be anything different then what they have on file there. However I think she said that Once I have all my records straight and figured out then I would need to mail them to them with a forum signed saying that I want to sign up on the voluntary adoption registry. Saying that if my parents ever go looking for me, and also register then Holt well let both parties know that each one is looking for each other and try there best to reunite them.

So right now Im currently still gathering papers and scanning them in to see what I have so far and see if I need holt to send me a copy of my adoption papers or not. So I’ll try to keep everyone up to date with what’s going on and Feel free to definitely come check back soon.

TomTom for iPhone

So for those of you looking for a good cradle for your iPhone for your  car you might want to hold  on and wait and check out the new cradle that TomTom navigation company is rolling out later this summer for the iPhone. Its going to be cradle that  includes a built in speaker and microphone that can be mounted ether on the window or on your dash board which ever you choose. You can have your phone positioned right side up or turn it sideways for landscape mode. Unfortunately TomTom has not released any pricing or further  details on TomTom for iPhone and is awaiting approval from Apple. When it does come come out I do plan to go a head a pick one up for my self. I can only guess that TomTom’s App is going to be pretty pricey.

Opening New Doors

On Monday the 13th   I started the search for my birthparents. There seems to be something about Brittany that has made me more outgoing in the past few months then I’ve ever been. She brings me joy in which i’ve been missing. On Monday while at her house I started to contact the person who did my adoption and her name is Margaret Peo. She is pretty old so it was pretty hard to understand her over the phone. I knew if I wanted to start looking for my Biological Birthparents it would have to be soon. Having contacted her she asked me if I was interested in finding my biological birth parents in which I responded,  yes. She gave me a number in which is Holt International Headquarters  in Portland Oregon to find out more information. Unfortunately the person who I was looking for was no where to be seen and I got a voice mail. So know I’m awaiting a phone call from Debbie Hamilton regarding more information about what  I need to do in order to find more information about my birthparents. I’ll try my best to keep my blog updated so defanitly come back and check out my blog again.

White lights coming from bottom of my 15″ MacBook Pro Screen Apple Says is Normal Behavior

So today I took my 2008 Macbook Pro into the Apple store for a issue where intermittently I’ll get a white light more like a spot lights  the well run about half way up my screen. Now for the longest time I had never had this problem with my computer until now. Apple is now telling me that this is normal behavior of this computer. Now I know the lights don’t really hurt anything and all I have to do is usually shut down the computer and restart it once or twice before the light go away. but I just feel this isn’t normal behavior and Apple is ignoring the problem. Since they don’t know what is causing it.

It’s Our 4 month Anniversary

So yesterday as some of you might know it was Brittany’s and ours anniversary. I just wanted to share some of the awesome photos that we took yesterday together. Brittany and me started the morning off by walking my dogs in Marina Del Rey, but of course I forgot their collars at home. But that was not a problem we did find a away in which we could walk Sadie and Sophie. We ended up having lunch at Islands to get a bite to eat, not thinking we should of just gone to the Kettle that is downtown Manhattan Beach. We eventually made our way to beach and where able to lay out in the sun. Overall we had a wonderful day at the beach and Brittany’s idea of going to the beach for the day was a awesome idea. The worst bumper design in automotive history

So I just want to throw out my personal opinion on probably one of the worst bumper designs out there in the auto industry. The bumpers  I’m talking about you may have seen on older Nissans and Toyotas  Corolla’s. It’s not the shape that I find most annoying, but the finish in which the bumpers are made out of always make them look like they’re made out of Charcoal and always are dirty.

As you can see by the picture above on this 1980s Toyota Corolla the front bumper is made out of the same material in which I’ve been talking about. No matter whether it’s new or old it always has this stupid matte look to it. Every time I see one I feel as if I was to walk up and touch it I have a handful suet. So leave your comments below and let me know what you think what you agree with me or not that this can definitely be put in the books as one of the worst decisions in automotive history.

The Best Day <3

hey everyone 

i know i have not updated this in a while but i have been a busy bee! To update everyone my 4 month is coming up with Brittany and i. We still have no clue what we are going to do but it will be fun like always. I finally meet some of her family and Im to say with great confidence that they love me! Brittany said i made a great impression on them because i was being myself. 

My work at apple is doing great. I have more hours then im kinda used to but i love work. I upgraded my phone to the new Iphone 3Gs. Which i plan to sell my old phone which is in very good condition. This is week 2 of the new iphones and their are still lines at almost every apple store. 

Today Brittany and i went to go pick up her new macbook at the Grove. We also went to go get fresh fruit at the Farmers Market right next store to the Grove. After that we went into a few stores and then we got tried and decided to go back to my place to hang out and to play with her macbook. We took some really cute photos on her mac. Were both so crazy about each other we hope it shows in out photos.

Since i have a little more time i will be updating it more because Brittany will make me! lol!

Wow Safari 4.0 it’s FAST

So i just updated my computer with Safari 4.0 on my mac and all i can say dam it fast or im on speed. O wait I am lol But anyway check it out update to Safari 4.0 Its really fast and loads pages quit a bit faster then before. I’ll write more about it later but thats it for now.
